What Surveylance does
Surveylance is a civic sanitation platform that helps citizens and sanitation teams work together for cleaner neighborhoods. Citizens raise complaints about local cleanliness, request door-to-door collection of recyclables, and join community events. Behind the scenes, requests go to a team leader for review and are assigned to IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) team members, making the process transparent for everyone.
Karma Technolabs built Surveylance as a cross-platform solution, with Flutter apps for Android and iOS, a Node.js backend, and a web platform. The workflow connects three roles: citizens, team leaders who approve and assign requests, and field workers who complete tasks. Real-time status updates, photo capture, and comments keep each request traceable from submission to completion and acceptance.
