What StoryHub: Read & Share Stories does
StoryHub is a storytelling platform for readers and writers. Readers discover stories across genres such as horror, romance, comedy, mystery, sci-fi, fantasy, and motivation, while writers upload and share their own work through an easy publishing system. The app is designed for long, comfortable reading sessions and gives new writers a place to find an audience for their stories.
Karma Technolabs designed and built StoryHub with Flutter, a Node.js REST API, MongoDB, and Hive for local storage. The engineering focus was on the reading experience: customizable Kindle-style typography and themes, Bionic Reading, text-to-speech narration with auto-scroll, and offline downloads that keep progress and settings. The architecture was planned to scale toward future community storytelling features.

Built-in text-to-speech narration reads stories aloud with synchronized auto-scrolling, creating an audiobook-style experience for hands-free reading sessions.

Save stories on the device to read without a connection, while keeping reading progress and personal settings.
